WASHINGTON, D.C. – At a meeting on Capitol Hill on Tuesday, U.S. Senator Deb Fischer (R-Neb.) joined several of her Republican colleagues for a meeting with Ivanka Trump focused on pro-family tax reform.
Sen. Fischer, a longtime advocate for conservative solutions to challenges working families face, led the meeting’s discussion on paid family leave. The meeting was organized by Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.).
“It’s so important to have Ivanka Trump use her platform to shine a light on the challenges working families face,” Fischer said. “I look forward to continuing to work with her on a way forward with policy solutions that can make a difference.”
