SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. – Scotts Bluff County Extension office will hold an open house from 3 to 6 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 29 to show its new office space at 4502 Avenue I, Scottsbluff.
Parking is available on the south side of the building, and entrance is through the glass doors closest to the parking lot. Refreshments will be served.
The County Extension Office is now located in the southwest corner of the UNL Panhandle Research and Extension Center. Before the move, it was on the east side of the building, nearest the large parking lot.
The new location will give Scotts Bluff County more space for its growing programs that serve a diverse clientele in the areas of 4-H and youth development, horticulture, nutrition education, mentoring, career and college readiness, Master Gardener, pesticide applicator and chemigation training, and other areas.
To get to the southwest parking lot, continue past the parking lot on the east side of the building. A driveway along the south side of the building ends at a parking lot outside the southwest entrance. Signs will be placed to make the way clear to drivers who haven’t been to that side of the building before.
