Members of the Scottsbluff High School FFA received a check for $500 from Betaseed, Inc., recently for their participation in the annual Progressive Agriculture Safety Day. The event, a partnership between the Scottsbluff-Gering United Chamber of Commerce Agri-Business Committee and Betaseed, is held annually at the Scotts Bluff County Fairgrounds and has helped hundreds of children learn the importance of safety at home and on the farm. The Scottsbluff FFA group has helped facilitate this event for the past five years.
“This group always does a tremendous job of supporting us with this event” said John Dillman, Regional Sales Manager for Betaseed. “They are willing to do whatever we need them to do and make hosting an event like this much easier for us. We really appreciate their help.”
