SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. – Ticket sales are open for West Nebraska Arts Center’s annual fundraiser, “Uncork Your Winter Blues: The Grape Gatsby.”
This adults-only wine and food pairing event will be held Saturday, Jan. 20, in the Main Gallery from 7:30 to 10 p.m. Supporters of the fundraiser will enjoy a fabulous evening of wine tastings, delicious hors d’oeuvres, jazz music and more. Main Street Market will be serving champagne. There will be a silent auction featuring unique, themed baskets from area businesses to bid on, as well as reserve wine tastings for an additional donation. Roaring 20’s inspired costumes and attire are encouraged, but totally optional.
“This special evening in the gallery is our way of saying thank you for member and community support. At the Arts Center, we believe in sharing a community venue for promoting appreciation and education of the arts; encouraging diversity, creativity and cultural enrichment; and inspiring and awakening artistic expression in all backgrounds and ages. With the help of everyone who supports our fundraiser, the Arts Center continues to provide a variety of high quality cultural programs and art exhibits within our community. I am especially excited about this year’s theme. The WNAC staff, volunteers, and Board of Directors always do a fabulous job with this event, but this year will be especially exciting, says Donna Thompson, WNAC Executive Director.
