SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. – April 15 is the deadline for applications for each of two scholarships currently being offered by the Scotts Bluff County Farm Bureau.
The first, the Larry Birdsall Memorial Scholarship, is worth $1,000. In addition, a second, $500 scholarship is available. Both are offered to graduating high school seniors or current college students.
Applicants must be the children or grandchildren of members of the Scotts Bluff County Farm Bureau, or a student member of the group themselves. Applications are available from area high school counselors and from local Farm Bureau Financial Service agents.
Awards will be announced in May. Proceeds of the scholarships will be paid directly to the college of the student’s choice.
