GERING – The Legacy of the Plains Museum is raffling off two halves and four quarters of beef. Tickets are only $10 apiece and the winners will be drawn Dec. 5. The beef will be taken in for processing in late November and is covered by the museum. With six chances to win, the raffle is an excellent way to stock up with beef for the winter and spring.
Starting this week, Legacy of the Plains Museum is switching to its winter hours. The museum will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays. The Museum will be closed on Mondays.
Summer hours will resume in April 2021.
